Health 101

According to the World Health Organization (1946), “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”  So, your health goes beyond the appointment with us.  Your health is not only good blood pressure but also a healthy relationship with the people closest to you. Many people can attest to not feeling well physically when there is anxiety or depression in their lives. All of our systems are interconnected, and dis-ease in one system will oftentimes cause symptoms in another system. It is important for you to think about what makes you healthy. Do you make healthy food choices? Do you exercise daily? Do you have healthy relationships in your life? Do you have anxiety or depression that are interfering with your life? How do you define health and being healthy? What goals do you have to be your healthiest? Come talk to us about how we can help you reach those goals.
